I'd like to start off with the vibe of the coffee shop. When you enter Ready Set, it's relaxed and welcoming. A great place to catch up with a friend, grab a coffee on your morning commute, or even stay a while and work remote! The team of baristas are all so friendly and they consistently create a great environment for each customer.
The star of the show at Ready Set truly is their craft coffee. Founded by Molly, Chris and Jeff, Ready Set began as an idea in Florence, Italy. When the founders decided to learn how to roast coffee and took a crash course, they discovered they needed to create something to share with the world. Fast-forward to today, Ready Set has been a staple in Gordon Square since 2020 and growing ever since. They have become a large part of the community since planting their roots and have built relationships with the neighboring businesses. Not only providing coffee to many places in and around Cleveland, but partnering with and supporting businesses as well. Something so evident to me that I've seen is owners of other local businesses and community members regularly come into Ready Set and know the baristas by name and make it a point to build relationships and get to know the team. The cafe and staff really create a sense of connection that goes beyond the coffee.
Ready Set regularly hosts pop-ups featuring a variety of local businesses selling products like up-cycled apparel, candles, flowers, jewelry and more. Keep an eye on their Instagram for those (and more) happenings!
